This is the third twist sponge I've tried and the denser bristles actually grip my 4C hair instead of just skimming the surface. It's noticeably sturdier than the cheap ones that bend out of shape, and the twists come out more uniform and defined. Even after a few washes it still holds up fine.

The handle feels sturdier than my old sponge, and the grooves are deep enough to grab my 4C hair without snagging. It's been through two washes already and still keeps its shape, which is more than I can say for past ones.
